The ski pass you require for your lesson will depend on your ability level and what resort you are in. Some resorts allow children under 5 to have a free lift pass, it's always worth checking the ticket office or tourism office website to check the rules.

Each resort and lesson will operate differently. If you have chosen a private lesson you will be able to purchase a pass to suit your needs and where you wish to go.

Often first timers will not need a lift pass if the nursery slopes are at the bottom of the mountain. Beginners may just want the local pass and more advanced skiers might opt for the full resort access.

If you are looking to book a ski lesson, group or private, and are a beginner, we recommend contacting your ski school or instructor after booking. They will be able to give you the best advice on which pass to purchase.
